Recently retired off the track, she's came in a little nervous and tense... we buddies her up with some laid back retirees and allowed her to learn to just be a horse. In doing so her demeanor has totally changed. She is easy to handle, kind, great manners, and laid back. Really doesnt look at anything, not reactive, and not spooky. Enjoys turnout time, but equally loves her stall and fan on these hot/fly filled days.
She was a bit body sore (very tense) and turnout has helped that tremendously. She is very personable, loves attention and affection.. and she is a naturally curious horse. Seems to be one that will be game and give 100% to a person who is nice to her and wants to bond with her and be her partner.
Has been turned out in a small group, not bossy. She seems to follow the group and mind her own business.
Just got new shoes on this week.
Ready to be restarted!
She is really starting to come into her own little personality and is a great option for someone looking for a friend on a lower budget!
