Weol occasionally come across those horses that are naturally just bombproof. They're kind hearted, smart, willing, and have a ton of heart. Town is exactly that. After retiring from racing and earning over 200k this boy landed back with his breeder. She used him as a trail and pleasure horse but was sent to me when life happened and he had went over a year without having a saddle. She wanted him to be loved and have a job, and she wanted him to get all the love and attention he could... not just sit in a field.
This guy can do it ALL. He is just an amazing SAFE horse... I cannot stress it enough. Ride him bitless (which he loves) or with a bit. Western, English, bareback.. it's all the same to him. Perfect for your husband or friends and a gem for the kids. My 5 year old can ride him with absolutely NO issue and I would never hesitate putting her on. He has no vices and retired sound! Take him out on any trail either alone or in a group, obstacle courses, he would probably work some cows like, do mounted shooting, definitely give some kids lessons... the list goes on.
Neck reins like a pro! His lead to the right is still a little harder to get, but we have been working on it and this is only bc he recently started doing arena work .. he's always been more out in the open.
