I adore this horse and will ALWAYS be here as a soft landing for him. Just retired and made over 170k he is a war horse horse and he deserves the very best.
Kind as they come and you could honestly never put a price on his brain, it's exceptional. He has the best manners, he cares about nothing, you can turn him out anywhere with anyone.... he is just the best friend you could ask for. Quiet enough to be around kids, gentle enough for them to enjoy safely.
Temple has stringhalt. If you're not familiar please speak to your vet. He is not in pain, he is made this way. It causes a very odd movement in the hind leg due to a tight ligament. Fortunately in today's medicine world there are treatment options to help the movement and a procedure to cut the ligament so the tendon is not so tight. It's not necessary for racing bc again, it causes NO pain, it isn't a soundness issue, and movement really doesn't matter in a racehorse.
He does better when he gets a lot of turnout and can move around. I have had him here for about a month, I feel the need to really find him his perfect situation and I will have in a contract that I get first right of refusal. I DO NOT WANT HIM PASSED AROUND.
