Yield to Honor 6yo Gelding 16hh

Updated: Mar 8, 2020

Burlington KY

$1000

Honor is a great boy. He is kind, calm, and so easy going. He raced 17 times tunning through his easy conditions and then started being less competitive as the races got tougher. He has been turned out since late summer. He wintered well and kept a decent weight so I do feel comfortable calling him a relatively easier keeper. No vices and impeccable manners. I picked him along with 2 others up from an owner I work with consistenly bc they ran out of room at the farm and just have too many horses sitting.

He is currently barefoot and has been for some time, seems to be comfortable that way and seems to have great feet.

Very comfortable calling him an Amateur friendly restart as he does not have a mean or spooky bone in his body.

He does have a small calcium bump on his knee. There are no xrays and have never had any taken but he did race this way. It is very small but i did take a close up so youre able to see in the pictures.

He is very sound!

As a reminder this horse has lived outside (not blanketed) in a very wet winter. He had mud caked to him. We have spent time cleaning him up the best we can to show how cute he can be. He does still have minor rain rot that we are working on. Just pulled a new coggins and he is 100% ready to start his new life.
