West stayed at the track through the summer last meet and went home to the farm to make room for other (more competitive horses) at the time until the meet ended in October. He recently was brought back into training with the spring meet starting up in April and his connections just are not thrilled with his speed figures and have other babies theyre also considering bringing in, which once again would put this guy on the back burner. Decisions been made to go ahead and move him on from racing.
West is a doll on the ground. Loads, ties, stands for the farrier. He is well mannered, loves to be groomed and has a great all around disposition.
Has not been formerly restarted with any post track training but is an amateur friendly restart that someone is going ro have fun bringing along.
Lovely movement, large stride.
He is a very simple horse, has spent a lot of time turned out and is good both inside or outside. Has been barefoot since the fall with no issue and seems very comfortable (I cannot say he will not require front shoes once put into full time work, especially if on rough terrain)
Good eater, no vices.
"Plain brown wrapper" with tons of show appeal and a very very class horse!
