Wally stands a hair under 16hh. He is a stocky boy that takes up a good amount of leg and is about as sweet (and spoiled) as they come.
He is one of my personal horses that I pulled out of a hoarding situation as a weanling. I have a very special place for him in my heart and I just want him to be loved how I love him. Wally has been through race training (in Hope's he would make me a million dollars 😂) but he never raced. He has been home permanently and has basically become the barn mascot. He gets put on the back burner as far as riding and it just isnt fair to him bc he absolutely loves having a job. He has been barefoot and should be able to stay barefoot with no issues. He is an insanely easy keeper (I have to buy him different lower fat feed and he only gets a scoop AM and PM) Wally has no vices and on the ground I would trust him with a small child he is so gentle.
He is not a deadhead under saddle. I do feel an ammy can finish bringing him along WITH the help of a trainer. He is smart, picks up things quickly and extremely willing. He has his auto changes but as you can see in the video he still does get excited about them and they need to be quieted down a bit.
He has probably had 3 rides this year (4 absolute max) so what you see from these videos today is exactly what he is when you pull him from the field and jump on him.
Wally will NOT tolerate anyone in his mouth so if you're a heavy handed rider he is not the right fit for you. He is extremely soft and only goes in a snaffle or rubber D-bit. He has ways been this way.

I am realistic and know homes are not always permanent so he may not find a "forever home" but I do not want to sell him as a resale project. This is a horse that means a lot to me and I would like to follow him.
I do think he has big things in his future with the right person.
