Summer raced 9 times and was retired in Oct 2016. She was sold through the Keeneland Jan 2017 sale for $24,000 as a broodmare. She is a big brut of a mare but completely kind, easy going, easy to handle and well haved. She is located at a Large TB breeding farm and has had 1 foal. Due to COVID and a direct impact on him a client at this farm has to dissolve all of his mares and foals. He wasnt able to put them in the sale due to costs and the number of horses he has. This mare has had great care and she is in great weight and looks great. She is barefoot and has the typical chewed up broodmare feet you see on larger farms but its nothing a farrier cannot clean up in one visit. She has no vices and no behavioral issues. Nothing preventing her from being a riding horse and nothing preventing her from continuing in as a broodmare.
