Summer is a darling mare. She was bred, raced, and race trained by a gentleman in know quite well that loves his horses... after training her 2 yr old year and showing absolutely NO potential (she wasnt fast enough to be a speed horse and couldnt do the distance which is how shes bred) he decided to keep her and make her a broodmare his 3yr old year bc he loved her breeding, conformation and overall demeanor. She has been a broodmare ever since with NO issues... unfortunately this year when she dropped her foal it was not alive.
Summer is a fantastic prospect to move into a new career. She is kind, well behaved, not spooky and has zero drama or attitude. My 7 year old daughter can handle her with no issue and I feel confident shes safe around her. Just a good hearted mare all around.
When the weather breaks (ee have had extreme flooding, high winds and our temps have dropped and rose within 30 or so degrees the past 3 weeks. It has been crazy) we plan to get on her and I without a doubt think she will be just as saintly as shes been the day she walked into the barn.
No soundness issues, no injuries, no vices.
She is built like a tank. It is impressive the amount of muscle she has after being a broodmare for so long, and she is only going to continue to fill in.
Not in a rush to move her... but will go ahead and list her bc I have so many people looking for nice horses right now, and she is one of them!!! Someone's going to get lucky!!
