This horse comes from a wonderful connection who is truly ALL ABOUT doing right by their horses. She suffered am injury in spring 2023. A condylar fracture that required a screw, if you aren't familiar with this it's an injury that is NON LIMITING if surgery and rehab is done correctly. He took her home, rehabbed her fully (and gave extra time) and instead of sending her back to the track he's decided he wants her to go on and do something else and I applaud that decision. Stiletto loves farm life, she is a happy and easy going mare. She gets along with her 4 legged friends and causes NO drama. I have still yet to see her be marish. She is a thicker bodied horse, I wouldn't consider her fine. Good manners and easy to work around. Undersaddle she is just learning the ropes off track but has done NOTHING wrong... even stands quietly to be mounted. I could see her easily fitting into a lesson program and having multiple uses bc she seems like a horse that would be content doing anything asked of her.... she's also a great size/build for a lot of body style riders and is not too big where she is intimidating.
No bad habits.
Loves turnout but is equally quiet and relaxed in her stall.
Consider a horse like this to support the people who do right by their horses and want to see them thrive after racing.... do not let a little jewelry deter you!
