Smila is the total package. She is beautiful, she is solid, she has good conformation... feet are great (shes actually been barefoot for years I just chose to put front shoes on her as a preference) Absolutely no vices, no attitude, and she is kind enough for my 7year old daughter to handle, walk around, and groom. Smila has been used as a broodmare for years. She has had NO complications, the gentleman was just forced to make some tough choices to thin out his breeding stock.
In my personal opinion Smila has far too much natural potential to be a broodmare right now... she is sound, she is a 10 with her natural movement, and you will not find a lump or bump on her.
She has had several rides under her and I can confirm she is very much an amatuer type and is more than kind and willing. The plan was to ride her through the winter and have her exhibition ready (possibly even kids friendly ready) by spring but unfortunately life has happened for me and I cannot have projects right now.. as they will have to sit and not be ridden. Smila is READY to go, she is great outside, has been great on trails, and she is great in the arena. She has never offered to buck, kick, rear, bolt, or etc. She is going to finish out insanely fancy and my loss is 100% someone else's gain in this mare. I promise you wont regret having her in your barn.
Good for everything... ties, cross ties, stands to tack, loves grooming, trailers well, stands for the vet and farrier. Gets along with other horses both gelding and mares and has been in a mixed herd. She has been over small logs and tiny x rails which she did not bat an eye. I have no under saddle video, as I had no plans on listing her at this time ... but as I said life has come up leaving me no options and I want her to thrive.
