A little bad luck and a sesamoid fracture that needs rehabbed. This guy is little and stout, has a great personality and seems very easy to work with (lip chain isnt necessary for him but at the track and with a fresh injury we want to make sure he stays in control and does not further hurt himself on the pavement)
Youre looking at a 6 month rehab before doing xrays and starting light work and conditioning. Surgery wasnt recommended, just stall rest. Should be able to go on and do most things, would not recommend high level jumping or barrel racing but at the end of the day its always best to consult with your own vet.
I will NOT rehome him to you without being in current good standing with your equine vet and they have to be willing to provide that reference. Please do NOT contact me about him unless you have this, no exceptions at all.
