This yearling is right below 16'1 (I kid you not) he is a massive/stout boy and is so friendly, wise, and mature. He has a 10 movement (honestly I am glad they thought he would be too big to be a racehorse bc his movement is an asset to the sport horse world)
Does everything asked of him and really wants to please. Stands tied, stands for the farrier, good ground manners. He is starting to learn the whole tacking up thing.... the first time he ever got on a trailer he was beyond trusting, was a good boy, and trailered like a gem witb two others.
We retrained his brother who was a solid 17'3 and had a chest wider than a draft horse and we expect him to finish out the same. Obviously needs to be in educated hands, he is a baby and learning the world. If you help him and give him positive energy he will literally do anything you ask of him without thinking twice. Beautifully built, solid feet, good dispositon and so honest. He has no vices or behavioral problems ... he gets along with all other horses whether theyre mare or gelding and he is very quiet both in a stall and in the field. Going to continue working on the tacking and ground work and putting all the fundamentals on him we can before he starts under saddle. I typically am not one that enjoys working with babies, but this guy is a total gem and retains things like a sponge making it very fun/easy.
