Sage's personality is cool as a cucumber. Retired from racing 2019 and then became his owners personal trail horse. The couple are older and the only reason they have to give him up is due to health issues... With a heart attack and other heart conditions neither are cleared to ride anymore unfortunately. He has had a lot of trail miles and the husband used him to pony babies while breaking them. Just recently started ring work but is very eager to learn and wants to please. Jumped him a few times just to see what he thought and he LOVES it and is 100% game with no hesitation... guess this is good and bad bc someone could easily push him too hard too past and break that natural confidence. AMAZING MOVEMENT.. One of the best I have seen in awhile.

He still needs weight. His connections have been dealing with serious health issues which put the horses on the backburner. His weight isn't horrible, it can just be better. He has been barefoot for years, don't foresee him needing shoes. Feet were just trimmed.
