Let me start by saying when horses come to the farm and I know nothing about them I have no problem being honest about it. I do not know her trainer, they were referred to me by someone else to rehome this horse and isnt someone I work with all the time.
She has been with us about a week, was absolutely thrilled to be turned out and played in the arena and is a gorgeous mover with a huge stride.
Since being in the barn I will say she has good manners on the ground and is polite but seems very unsure and still a bit immature. She still has a lot to learn and is likely going to be best with someone that wants to take their time rather than push her as fast as they can to tbe show ring... she seems ansolutely more than willing, but her personality is not going to mesh well with being overwhelmed and pushed quickly.
She has no vices. Legs are cold.
Is on the list to be reshod thursday and can leave with fresh new feet.
I think someone that wants to take their time with her is going to have a very nice horse.
Fantastic build, shes naturally thick with good bone and is flashy.
Would not recommend her as a first horse and she's likely not the best candidate for someone wanting their very first OTTB.
Again, I want say she is NOT mean and there is absolutely nothing dangerous about her... she is just immature, still figuring things out and is looking for a little confidence.
Rarely do I talk about Bloodlines, but i do love Hold me Back offspring.
