Faith sustained a hind suspensory injury in June and has been rehabbing with us. She has really been a gentle giant to work around even when she sat on stall rest for MONTHS. Very kind, no marish tendencies, NO vices. I have followed a plan of care given by the vet who originally saw her which included 60 days stall rest (I gave her 90) and 90 days turnout (she's just over 30 days turn out)
In a mixed field and gets along with EVERYONE. She is a good eater, polite in hand, quiet and neat in her stall. Expected to make a full recovery and has been 100% sound since day one of her turnout (and trust me she plays hard and is loving life)
This filly can be the real deal for someone..her build, conformation, mind, and Movement (drool worthy) is going to go very far in the right hands as long as she isnt pushed too hard too soon. Being so young and such a nice sport prospect I would personally turn her out until early spring. She is still growing and developing and she is already such a massive horse, but that is just my personal opinion. She has been a model citizen to rehab and has been very enjoyable to have in the barn. Ultrasound is recommended end of the year before going back in full work.
