This guy is as sweet as the come. As a yearling he did something in the pasture and it caused his eye to be removed... no one knows what actually happened while he was turned out. He does very well with one eye and is trusting, but needs someone experienced as he is young and still figuring it out. I have seen so many one eyed horses go on to do great things and have more trust for their rider than horses with 2 eyes, so I am hopeful this guy will find his person and give him just that. He has not been to the track, has only had 60 days undersaddle. During that time he has done absolutely nothing wrong and has been a gem to work with day to day. Again, someone experienced as he is freshly broke and probably will respond better to confidence and knowledge.
He is a thick guy with good bone. Has been barefoot his whole life, NO vices, and has had NO issues with behavior.
He can get in your personal space a bit on the ground but more in a curious way than anything.
Owners have decided to sell off all their remaining horses, mares, foals and are retiring from the racing business.
Good home is the most important thing... and he 100% deserves that!
