Royal is one of the sweetest old gals I have come across. She has served her time and has had MANY gorgeous babies ( a handful if which I have been able to see myself) Typically when mares are broodmares this long they become pushy and herd sour... This mare is anything but that. She is so kind, so gentle and just so willing to do whatever you want her to do! Total class!
Very well cared for and in great weight/condition (does she really look 18??!) She has the typical chipped up broodmare feet you see on any larger breeding farm but nothing that cant be cleaned right up in one farrier visit. The cracks are superficial on the OUTSIDE OF THE FOOT and can be wrasped even in about 10 seconds.
The owner who is a big client at this farm has hit very hard times and has had personal issues with COVID. He needs to completely dissolve his mares and babies as soon as possible and wasnt able to put them in the sale to move them.
With her age they are worried they arent going to be able to place her and they can NO LONGER pay for these horses. It is so important I find this girl a home right away.
She has plenty of healthy years left and I would imagine she would be a GREAT trail horse, play day horse, family horse... I think she would quickly get back in the swing of things and be one kick butt lesson horse!!! There are so many options here.
