I have known this horse awhile and let me tell you, he shines up and is stunning. His owners are especially attached to him and knew at the end of last meet he wasnt going to make it as a racehorse... he was sent to be turned out and they thought they would make an outride pony on him. He was left there longer than they anticipated bc life gets busy. They have a lot of ponies and a lot of racehorses, he kind of got thrown on the backburner.. long story short when they went to get him he was sun bleached and looked like he hadn't been fed properly. Mort has come back to the track specifically to put some weight on and weight for his new home.
You guys, this horse is amazing. He is kind, well behaved and the definition of a GOOD BOY. Easily a youth horse, lesson horse, 4h horse witb a few short miles. He is barefoot currently, would suggest at least fronts when in work bc he has never been in work barefoot (but maybe he would be fine, who knows)
Good home is most important. They want him to be loved and cared for.
He does crib. It is controlled with a collar.
I have attached his pictures from 2025 when I initially listed him before his owner decided to keep him and make him a pony below. These are NOT current but give you an idea of how gorgeous he is.
