Alex is a gentle large bodied guy. He os always kind, well behaved and quiet regardless if he is in the stall or turned out. Easy keeper as far as weight goes and has good feet (Does have front shoes)
Alex raced for awhile on the track and then went on to steeplechase.... He has a DNF bc he refused to start. He hated the gates at the track and it finally was just determined he wasnt into racing. HE HAS BEEN LET DOWN AND TURNED OUT TO BE A HORSE FOR A YEAR! He is ready for a job and a person that will give him all the attention. He does crib in his stall without a collar but that is the only negative thing I can say about this horse.
Already knows how to jump! Havent had any time to ride horses due to working end of the meet... He has been trail ridden a few times around the farm.
