Maux is an amazing, smart, kind and talented horse that anyone qould be lucky enough to call his partner. He is very straight forward to ride and can be ridden by almost any level of rider due to his great disposition. He is not spooky at all, light mouth, responds well to your leg and your seat... just a total gem in the saddle and eager to please. Despite being GIANT, his ground manners are just as good.
Easy keeper as long as he is on a good feed program and has always been one of the soundness horses in the barn.
He did bow the front tendons and came back and raced this way... retired bc they didn't want him to Tebow them due to his size. This horse has been out on trail rides, arena work, he has popped over small logs and XC jumps as well. He rides alone or in a group with no problems and will go through, around or over anything.
Currently jumping small jumps.
We shaved the tendons due to the winter hair so people are able to see them and see how small they truly are.
NO vices, NO bad habits.
This horse is truly a gem and one I will miss having in the barn when it is time for him to go bc he is so easy and so straight forward every single ride.
Gets along well with other horses. Trailers well, stands for the farrier.
New coggins was drawn yesterday, so he will leave with a brand new coggins.
For size reference the person in the green breeches is 5'11 with VERY long legs.
