Retired in 2015 and has been a broodmare ever since. Babies were recently weaned, They are not breeding her back. She is sound with clean legs, a lovely way of going and would be an excellent project for someone! Lacks topline, that can be normal for a broodmare. Definitely has the weight and as she fills in and muscles up she is going to be stunning. Ive brought her to my place to sit (I do not have the room long term) and we have cleaned her up the best we can, but she does have quite a knot in her tail with burrs that is going to take some time ton chip away at day by day. We dont want to pull her tail our or cut it bc she has a beautiful tail... best suggestion is to pour corn oil in it and let it sit for a week and gradually start combing away. Her bags been treated, feet done (i did put front shoes on her but she likely doesnt need them, shes been barefoot a long time) fresh coggins pulled. She is ready to start her new life. She IS a project and has been a broodmare for 10 years.
No vices. Gets along well with other horses, good in the stall, trailers well, stands tied, good for the farrier/vet.
