Lyon is an earner of close to 300k and has been well loved and cared for. He is a total class horse with tons of heart, a good dispositon, and an impressive work ethic.
Prepping for the spring meet he had his ankles injected and ended up with an infection that caused his leg to swell up from ankle to knee. Joint was immediately flushed multiple times and inflammation has since come down in the leg and is continuing to but he is still sore, he is going to need time to heal and at his age they are not going to ask him to sit out the rest of the year and come back next year as a racehorse.
He is looking for a safe spot where someone can let him heal up and he can have a good life off track.
Everything being disclosed, you know exactly what youre getting. He is finishing up his antibiotics (anything left will obviously go with him for you to finish)
NO vices.
Owners are in no hurry to move him. He will not just be thrown anywhere.
You must have a current vet reference and be in good standing with your vet. You must be willing to release information to me with your vet. If you cannot do this or do not have this, you are not going to be considered.
I do not want your dog vet, or the vet you used 10 years ago when you had a horse.
