I rehomed this mare back in 2019 and long story short she just wanted a good fit. Rider was looking for her first OTTB and she ended up not being the best first OTTB to build confidence.
She has never done anything behavioral wise, never reared and never bucked.
Since then they have other horses they are bringing along.
She spent some time on free lease at a hunter jumper barn and has done flat work and jumped around 2ft.
This mare has osselets but they are old.. we are talking 6 or so years old. They were old when I initially rehomed her. She is VERY sound, that has never been an issue.
She has been sitting this year doing nothing, mainly just turned out and being a horse and they feel it's very unfair to her.
Needs someone with a good hand that has patience and is not forceful, she is sensitive and I am sure she would NOT respond well to being bullied.
Great option for someone wanting a sound horse on a budget. They've done a wonderful job with her care!
