I am throughly impressed with this gelding. He left the track today and came to the farm to play and get a few pics and video. Not only did he walk off the trailer like a pro, he looked at nothing, was calm/kind, and well mannered. What's more impressive is once they decided to retire him (recently) they pulled all his shoes for oje less expense and he is so comfortable without even having a transition period. I do think on rougher terrain it is only fair to put front shoes on him bc it is what he is use to, BUT he blew me away with how well he handled going from 4 shoes to barefoot. NO vices or behavioral issues. He is a straightforward ride and amateur friendly. Has always been a lower level racehorse but as he is getting older it is getting harder to find races he is eligible to run in and be competitive.
This is a NICE prospect and I would love to follow his journey... he is also drop dead gorgeous ❤️
