Lyric is an exceptionally stocky and good looking young filly that had 2 starts at the end of 2019 during the fall meet. She was not cutting it as a racehorse and was turbed out while her connections moved to a different area of the country for the winter race meet. I was not involved with her racing career but do have a good relationship with her connections. From our observation her legs are tight and cold and she is very sound. She has good feet and seems to do well barefoot and has been barefoot for months. This filly was really well taken care of and in is great condition. She is in wonderful weight, very healthy and happy.
It did take her a few days to settle in to our place but I think the main reason for that was bc she came with another mare she previously shared turnout with... We have since split them up and changed the herd dynamics and she has been wonderful to be around and has given absolutely no issues.
Correct mover! I think she will continue to grow and finish out to be a decent sized mare.
