We decided to take on the old man now officially known as Nubby. He has been retired since 2010 sitting in a field and when the owners had to sell the farm him and several others were forced to find homes. Nubby is a solid and easy going guy.. He would idealing be the best trail horse but could also be a good lesson horse! Broke his tail bone in the starting gate 10+ years ago (no it doesnt hurt him and no it doesnt bother him... He does however appreciate a fly sheet.
We have put TWO rides on Nubby and his second ride was out on our back 12 acres of trails BY HIMSELF... I was on foot taking videos. He has a ton to learn but handled it like the class act he is! He deserves the best amd we are going to help him find just that. Really enjoys being worked with and seems to love having a purpose!
He is truly an oldie but a goodie with tons of years left!
