Judy is built like a brick house, both on the taller side and solid. ABSOLUTELY NO VICES. She retired about a year ago and her owner had the idea of breeding her after shes earned over 100k and then decided there were too many costs involved. She was taken back to training this spring and trained through the summer but unfortunately just didnt come back with the same competitive drive and with getting older (for a racehorse) no need to keep trying.
Shes acclimated flawlessly here with a mixed turnout herd and is great in her stall. Trailers well, ties well, has good ground manners. SHE HAS NOT HAD ANY POST TRACK RIDES, WE SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO DO A LOT OF RIDES WITH HOW BUSY THIS TIME OF YEAR IS.
Currently barefoot. Seems to be very comfortable and has a great foot. I CANNOT tell you if the same will apply undersaddle or riding on rough terrain or if she may need front shoes.
Sensible and kind... comes right up to you in the pasture and doesnt seem to have any kind of nasty marish quirks (that Ive seen)
