Big mare and long time broodmare that has had a home at Rose Hill and has been a very successful/good momma. I rehomed several of her babies and they are GORGEOUS large boned, thick, and healthy babies. Shes a great option to keep breeding as all of her babies I have seen are wonderful with great minds. She is a pretty lazy and laid back girl herself not in a hurry to get anywhere quick.
This mare has a bit of a sad story... She has lived at a phenomenal breeding farm for years with the best care. The owner of this mare (and others) ran out of funds and stopped paying for his stock on the breeding farm. He had his mares picked up and then we found them at a kill sale. The BREEDING FARM stepped in and covered their bail costs along with Quarentine to make sure they had a clean bill of health. The breeding farm obviously cannot keep these mares but he wants them to have a good life and a good home. I want NO comments about the previous situation, we are now looking for ideal homes.
She needs a little TLC, a good trim, and some loving but she IS worth it and we only want her to have a happy ending. Yes there is still glue from the auction tags on her withers.
