I have such a special place in my heart for true war horses like this one. 89 starts and he made close to 700k.. his legs are cleaner than most youngsters bc he was "built to last" and knew how to take care of himself. It take a VERY special horse to race later in life, equally to race that many starts. Goodtime 12/30/2017 and went out with a respectable 2nd place finish. He has since been turned out and living the good life with his connections for about two years. They equally have a special place for this guy which is why they wanted to see him in a home where he will be loved and have a job!
Easy keeper (He hasn't missed a meal) and be prefers to live outside 24/7.. clearly he jas lived in a stall for a very long time on the track so he is capable BUT he prefers living outside. He is barefoot, legs are very cold, and he is in great shape.
His owner said she was one of her favkrite horses to gallop!
He did have an accident with wire a few years ago leaving him without a few of his teeth - see pics. It has NO effect on him.
