Ekati retired back in 2018 to his owners farm where he has happily lived in pasture and they want to make it known he is ALWAYS welcome back if he needs a place to go. Great connections, the kind of people you want to see racehorses with.
The only reason he is looking for a home is because they felt he was a bit bored being a retired pasture puff when he is perfectly sound and healthy. He came to our farm to get a little clean up and riding and this horse has proved to be one of the easiest guys EVER and is so fluid with such a nice way of going. Yes he still has the bleached out coat and needs a bit of a topline that will only come with consistency in work BUT he is in good weight and he is ready for that job. He loves being back in work, is the easiest horse to work with and already has wonderful transitions along with picking up his leads correctly. He has the basic concept of working off your leg, is soft in the bridle, and is a very easy going and straight forward ride.
Not spooky at all.
Has been barefoot for years.
No Vices or behavioral issues.
Truly an amateur friendly horse that is going to clean up and shine like a new penny. His long time vet adores him and has no reason to believe he cannot go on to do anything asked of him.
Anyone would be lucky to have this guy!
