Debit has been with us for a few months. She came in over the summer after being turned out off the track barefoot and she had just chipped her feet down to nubs. We put boots on her and took the time to let her feet grow and get healthy and recently have put front shoes back on her.
She was very "racey" in the beginning, but has come down nicely and loves grooming and being messed with. She has good ground manners and I would consider her a brave/independent type (her best friend is my daughter's pony)
She has a little spice and attitude, but nothing aggressive or dangerous.
Forward thinking and she is very smart. Loves to do ground work and she learns VERY quickly. She picked up the concept of free lunging almost right away.
Has not been restarted under saddle.
She is RRP Eligible. Retired sound, she was slow. No vices.
She does need front shoes, was uncomfortable without them.
