Cover Boy is looking for a new home! I love him to pieces and only want the best home for him. Please share with anyone who may be interested.

Cover Boy is a 12 year old 16.1/16.2 chestnut Thoroughbred gelding who is looking for a new home, through no fault of his own. He is an all-around gentleman; he loves standing in the crossties being groomed and loved on, walks up to you in the pasture, and will try his best with whatever you ask of him. He is a barn favorite!

Cover Boy raced for seven years and came off the track in late 2017, getting restarted in 2018. He easily schools 2’9” fences and 3’6” grids, but has the scope and potential to continue to go higher. He has been XC schooling off property and does not bat an eye at anything- goes through water, over ditches, and up/down banks without any issues.

He would make a great first horse for an adult or even a child looking to move up from a pony. He would be happy to teach someone how to canter and jump, but is also talented enough to take them up the levels in eventing or jumper ring. He excels in a regular program, but is safe enough that you can get on him after weeks off without having to lunge him first. He is trail and road safe as well.

He will continue being trained and competed this summer and his price will increase with additional training and show mileage. Current asking price is in the mid four figures. He is located in Howell, Michigan.
