Katie is special, she is VERY special to all involved with her and profiting off of her life to go to a second career is the LAST thing they are worried about. Looking for the perfect fit for this gal, preferably someone looking for a long term horse to bond with not a flip sale. Katie is a loving mare, she is adorable, big boned and has tons of substance. A good mover, easy to get along with and a total sweetheart with wonderful manners. She was claimed 4 years ago and information was passed on that she has a catastrophic accident as a baby going into a stall (THERE ARE NO DETAILS BEYOND THAT IT WAS PASSED ALONG THROUGH THE CLAIM) because of this she does not walk forward into a stall. I dont know why, she just doesnt, you turn her around and she backs in on her own with her head down nicely. This is a guess her comfort and her connections have been worried that she would get claimed for the past 4 years and someone wouldnt accept it and rather try to handle her aggressively to make her walk in. They now have the ability to find her a home, pass on her story and hopefully get her the life she deserves after racing. She loads on the trailer well, goes in the gates and etc.. just does not walk into a stall. No vices. She is sound.
