Albert is one cool dude and he is like riding a big comfy couch!! He was going to be retired last year but connections said what the heck and brought him back for a few races this year. He is and has always been sound and rocks a pair of old and cold set osselets. Will he be your next upper level horse, no. He will however be fine with the smaller stuff and there's no doubt in my mind off the track he will be great with kids, non horse savvy friends and family, or a husband horse. Of course he can rock an English saddle but I could trail ride him all day in a western saddle! He is use to life on the farm and should transition well to a new environment. Just all around a very charismatic horse that is hard not to fall in love with and he so deserves his own people to love and adore him!
His ankles may not be the prettiest thing but he does have TRUE osselets. Horses can go on to do all disciplines with them.
